Who I am

Sharon Mutizira Mediation is the trading name of Sharon Mutizira, a Registered Civil/Commercial Mediator regulated by the Civil Mediation Council (CMC). I provide mediation services primarily in England & Wales and the UAE.

• Improve this website and understand how it is used in a general, anonymised way (legitimate interests).

I do not sell your personal data or use it for unrelated marketing. If I ever wish to send you updates or resources by email, I will ask for your consent and you can withdraw it at any time.

• Parties involved in a mediation, and their advisers, where necessary and appropriate to the mediation process.
• Professional advisers such as legal, accounting or insurance providers, where required to manage risk and comply with my professional obligations.

I only share the minimum information necessary and require anyone who processes personal data on my behalf to keep it secure and confidential.

International transfers

Because I work across the UK and UAE, your information may be processed in, or accessed from, both jurisdictions. Where personal data is transferred from the UK to another country, I take reasonable steps to ensure that appropriate safeguards are in place, in line with UK data protection law.

How long I keep your information

I keep personal data only for as long as necessary for the purposes set out above, including to meet legal, regulatory, insurance and professional obligations. Mediation‑related records are generally retained for a limited period consistent with CMC expectations, after which they are securely deleted or anonymised.

• The right to request deletion of your data in certain circumstances.
