Mediation for disputes connected to the UAE.
I offer civil and commercial mediation for parties with disputes connected to the UAE, including Abu Dhabi, Dubai and the wider Emirates. Mediation provides a confidential, efficient alternative to litigation, enabling parties to retain control over outcome while working with an independent neutral.
Mediation in the UAE is governed by Federal Decree-Law No. 40 of 2023 on Mediation and Conciliation in Civil and Commercial Disputes, which sets out the framework for court-referred and private mediation. My practice is particularly well suited to civil and commercial disputes with a UAE and international element, including those falling within or opting into the DIFC and ADGM courts.
I am listed as a mediator with The Mediation Hub (MENA) and am a member of the ADGM mediation panel. I regularly work with local and international counsel, in-house teams and insurers, and mediations can be conducted in person across the UAE or online to accommodate parties in different jurisdictions.
